I am very sad to say that I feel that the care and know that the co-ordination within this practice is collapsing. Not just my opinion but, shockingly, that of several other patients I've met, some of whom have left the practice for fear of their well-being. Such is my own case and I have been subject to many failures to the point where I no longer expect appropriate and/or timely support.
I say with great sadness because these are great people who try their best. I've been a patient here for 20 years and seen a dreadful decline in the past 5 to the point where it's impossible to get an appointment for weeks even if you have complex health problems (the reason for 2 people leaving for the alternative surgery) and, several times I've only been offered a 'Sit and Wait' but felt too unwell to manage as has been the case with the people I mention above.
Recently a friend with spinal fractures and severe nerve pain through arm and hand went for an appointment and was sent to a practice in a neighbouring town rather than see her own doctor.
Continuing cuts have put this practice and it's wonderful staff under intolerable pressure to the extent that the senior partner has left to work abroad.
Very Sad
