"Fantastic care from Tameside delivery suite"

Half way through my 5th pregnancy I changed to tameside hospital as I was not happy with the care I was receiving at a different hospital. I was anxious when I went into labour as I didn't know what to expect from a new hospital. The midwife who looked after me was called Val, we had just lost my brother in law and his funeral was 2 days after I gave birth.

The level of care I received from Val was fantastic. Val kept me informed of everything that was going on, she was extremly understanding about how anxious me and my husband were due to are recent loss. Val had all the time in the world for us and only left us for a few minutes at a time.

When I was ok to go home Val even walked us to the car, I have never had a midwife do this before at previous hospitlals. I could not have asked for better care. I'd like to say a big thank you to Val for delivering my daughter.
