"Wishaw district nurses"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Community Nursing Service

(as a relative),

Many thanks to the district nurses who work out of Kennilworth health centre in Wishaw. They responded so well to my uncle's needs when he returned home from the hospital in  December. You made the last week of his life as comfortable as possible and helped our family manage losing someone very very special to us. We can’t thank you enough. Thank you for your compassion and kindness.

Dear MCJ

On behalf of the District Nursing Team here at Wishaw l would like to thank you for your kind words following the passing of your uncle who was very special to you all. As a team of nurses we strive to deliver excellent patient centred care with care, compassion, kindness, dignity and respect at the heart of this, ensuring that families and carers are supported and cared for throughout what is a difficult time. I have shared this with the team and they appreciate and feel humbled that you have taken the time to write such kind words and in their words “ they were only doing their job. “

Kind regards

Lesley Cormack Team leader

Morag Anderson
