"My anxiety"

I have self-referred myself for anxiety, and got my assessment I think within a couple of days. I did wait a couple good months before I got my first session booked in (I think I self referred in May and had first session in October). However, the whole experience and the help I received was worth every single minute of waiting! Thankfully the Therapist with whom I had the assessment ended up being my therapist and I was super glad as I really connected with her. Shivani is really approachable, adaptable and empathetic, which is what I was looking for! We quickly clicked, and I felt sooo comfortable with her that I could open up even my most vulnerable side. She explained each step of the journey, each method and how it can benefit me. She also challenged me, for which I admire and thank her for as it’s the only way to grow and learn! Finally, she was herself through-out our engagements which made me feel very comfortable. I will really miss my weekly sessions with her!

The methods and process that she took me through was super clear and very beneficial. I found myself improving each week, and learning more about my unhealthy behaviours. I can truly say that I am a new woman! I feel so much better and comfortable with uncertainty. I also feel like I have plenty of tools that I can use in case I relapse.
