"Good care but shortage of staff at Pinderfields hospital"

I was a patient in ward M of the Pinderfields hospital for the treatment of a bowel blockage. All the staff on the ward were caring and cheerful. I never felt ignored and was always called by my first name, which I think is more personal. The staff were very busy but tried to make time to share a few words, which cheers a patient up.

The main improvement would be to employ more staff, as the hospital can get very busy and it seems that there just isn't enough staff at the moment.
