"Confidentiality concerns on gynaecology ward"

About: Ormskirk & District General Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I felt there were poor standards of nursing care. The nurses I saw did not seem to have respect or dignity for the patients.

Confidentiality did not exist. Some nurses discussed patients problems behind the nurses station. I felt this showed lack of confidentiality and communication skills. Some nurses over spoke in a higher tone about patients problems. I found this unprofessional.
