"Covid Poem. Womens service Rampton"

About: Rampton Hospital / National High Secure Healthcare Service for Women

(as the patient),

This is a thank you Poem to the diamond resource centre staff and the therapist education stuff during the last three months of covid restrictions.

Three months ago we felt so sad

we had lost activities we had always had

then you turned up and all was well

you created heaven from virus hell

without you we would never have coped

just stranded bored snappy and moped

so now we want to let you know

how great you been high and low

so celebrations now from us to you

for all the wonders that you do

Hi

What a lovely touching poem. The DRC staff working on the wards are doing their best to keep you all safe with lots of opportunities to join them in different activities. I will make sure they are made aware of this Thankyou Poem - I am sure they will be very pleased in knowing the difference they are making to your lives during this testing time.

Many Thanks and Stay Safe

Thank you for taking the time to share this positive posting, this poem is fantastic as is the (thankyou card) that it was wrote in.

I'm delighted that you are all participating with the DRC TED TEAM on and off the ward in the meaningful day activities offered during this difficult time, and appreciate what they are all doing.

Keep getting involved with the activities.

I will pass your feed back on to the team, you will also be able to see this posting in the DRC Care Opinion display cabinet.

I am so lucky to manage the TED team within the DRC WOMENS SERVICES and proud of them all.

PS the card will also be on display in the Care Opinion Cabinet for all to see.

Regards

Kath
