I was a patient on Simspon ward 2 of the Nottingham City Hospital with a gall bladder infection. I felt that, on the whole, I was treated well in what were worrying times. I was impressed by the amount of cleaning but there was an empty bottle of water under my bed, which was only picked up 3 days later to be placed on the tray of the patient in the bed next to me. This did not seem to be very hygienic to me!
