About: John Eastwood Hospice (inpatient)

(as a service user),

On arrival staff made me feel very much at home and welcome, the staff are always pleasant and friendly. I really enjoyed browsing around the shop and purchased a lovely top. The food has been very tasty and there is always lots of choice. My visitors have enjoyed coming to John Eastwood and found all staff members helpful and pleasant.

Firstly, can I say how sorry I am for the delay in responding to your story. I was pleased to read that staff have made you feel at home and welcome and that the food is enjoyable.

I was able to see that not many staff have seen your feedback. This is due to the way John Eastwood Hospice was listed on our services for Notts Healthcare on Care Opinion. We have changed this and hope that more staff from the Hospice will see more stories written about their service. I know they would have replied much sooner if this had been the case.

This is not the experience we want for anyone who takes their time to leave feedback and again I am truly sorry this has happened.
