Neurosurgery- early 2012
Mr. Haden and team. First Class- no complaints. Just a long wait to get the operation done and post op appointment.
At Derriford not happy that I could hear and see the senior anaesthetist discussing with the junior anaesthetist that the drug choice the junior had made was too expensive for the length of time of my operation. I was wide awake listening and watching this discussion! I commented at the time that I didn't think I should be listening to this conversation.
I do not know either of their names- the junior anaesthetist was very nice.
Then on day 2 after my spinal surgery, someone came looking for a free bed, and advised me to walk to x ray west, I'd get home and quicker and less likely to get infections. I told him where to go- lack of communication.
