"Compassionate teams with Ambulance and hospital services"

While on holiday in Grantown-on-Spey my husband became unwell and I had to call an ambulance.

The paramedics who attended were attentive and caring and explained to us both why they felt it necessary to transfer him to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Due to COVID I could not accompany him.

The emergency department team at the hospital were very supportive and sympathetic when they called to update me and ask questions, especially so when calling to tell me that sadly he had passed away. All the team I or the family had contact with were very compassionate and feeling. I was assured my husband had been well cared for.

Firstly, please accept my sincerest condolences for the passing of your husband. I cannot imagine how difficult time this must be for you and your family. Our thoughts are with you all.

Thank you for sharing this feedback on CareOpinion. It really does speak volumes that in a time of grieving, you are looking to provide positive feedback to the staff that attended your husband.
