As a (now retired) Professor of Medical Education I have had a lot of experience working with doctors, nurses and other healthcare practitioners helping them to communicate well with patients and in team settings.
Today I had an excision procedure carried out by Dr Bailey assisted by two nurses - Sammy and Bonnie - at the Cornwall Skin Clinic, Three Spires Medical Practice, Truro (Cornwall). The care I was given was exceptional, professional and deeply attentive. There is nothing I could teach these three about good humoured, attentive care. This was a model of patient-centred practice. Deeply skilled and flawless healthcare - could not have asked for more.
