"Ayr Crisis Team"

About: Community Mental Health Team / Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) - South Ayrshire

(as a relative),

My sister needed help, police in home, called the crisis team. Suicidal, voices and more. Told her CPN would be emailed on the Monday, and try to watch TV. After police left she tried to take her own life.

Now has lots of problems due to damage she caused herself. Balance, she can hardly talk, pain spine to head, falls a lot. Think it's a disgrace that you can't help someone who begs for help. Judge her on her diagnosis. About time you realise things change, save a life for god sake. Disgusting treatment.

Dear Roxybaby,

I am sorry to hear of the circumstances you describe. I fully appreciate what a worrying time it must be for you and your sister.

Mairi Gribbens, the Service Manager has asked me to post below on her behalf,

"I am sorry to hear of your concerns in regards to CRT. I would appreciate if you could ask your sister to contact myself on 01563 826120 to discuss her concerns, I am on AL and will be returning on the 14th December. In the meantime I would encourage your sister to contact South Ayrshire CMHT on 01292 559777."

I hope you are able to make contact and resolve the situation you have described.

Best Wishes

Laura
