The care I received recently was absolutely phenomenal beginning with my midwife in Kingswells, Caroline, up to the postnatal care received from other members of the same team.
The midwife who took my call was super helpful and understood the urgency even though my contractions started only a few minutes earlier. She got in touch with the midwives to come to mine and kept in touch with me to let me know at each point in time where the midwives were. The two midwives who attended the delivery, Leanne and Sheila were fantastic - this is despite the fact that one of the midwives had just concluded another delivery when she was sent to mine. Thanks to their encouragement, the baby was delivered shortly after they arrived, and with no need for stitches. I believe this was entirely down to the gentle guidance when the baby’s head was delivered. They were so pleasant during the delivery of the placenta and the after care, including helping me get washed and cleaned up. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I would be looked after by the same team. It was gold star service all the way!!!
