(as the patient),

Hi I recently had breast surgery on at Wishaw General Hospital after Being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. . I would like to take this opportunity to thank Claire, Melissa and Tracy in Day Surgery who can I say do such a professional  job in making you feel so at ease in what was such a massive day for me. My surgeon Christine and breast care nurse Amanda based at Hairmyers have been my rock through this experience and I can’t thank them enough for what they do. Can I also mention Sandra theatre nurse, and those nurses who prepare you for theatre, they do not get acknowledged enough and without them our surgery would not be what they are,  as they help perform such life saving operations  Thank you all, for all that you do, every day, you are my true angels.

We recognise that people are often anxious when attending for a procedure and the staff work really hard to provide clear information and help allay any fears or anxieties people may have; it sounds like you've had a really positive experience.
