After months of severe pain in January 2020 I had a shoulder replacement at Grantham Hospital. I was petrified but I was met with cheerful, efficient office staff, helpful and professional Nursing staff. I was successfully operated on by Mr Yewlett and his wonderful team.
Before, I couldn't brush my hair - I can now. I couldn't carry a tray - I can now. I couldn't lift my shopping into or out of my car - I can now.
My aftercare by Mr Yewlett and the wonderful staff at Grantham Hospital has been second to none. I have followed all their instructions, done the exercises set for me by the physiotherapist. I soon began to have full movement and was free of pain.
My experience in visiting Grantham Hospital in these unsettled times has been fantastic.
Thank you all for giving me my life back. A very grateful, pain-free 83 year old.
