"Professionalism and kindness shone through"

I attended the SHSCT Allergy Covid Vaccination Clinic this week.  Staff were excellent, knowledgeable and reassuring.  I was able to speak with medical staff prior to making my decision to receive the vaccine.   Frances (Pharmacist) was absolutely lovely and able to answer my queries.  Olivia Delaney and Danielle McKee were amazing.  They provided a calm environment and made me feel welcome and safe.  I valued the service greatly as making a decision to receive the vaccination is not necessarily easy. 

What I did learn from this experience that I had not appreciated before, is how personal protective equipment may hide most of the persons face  but in turn accentuates the eyes.  The persons thoughts or concerns can be read so much clearer.  For me this is how I perceived the teams friendliness and calmness when I needed it the most.  Professionalism and kindness shone through
