I was incredibly nervous and worried about attending . The team were fantastic in the Endoscopy unit and in theatre . Particular thanks to Miss Sharma who explained everything and appreciated my anxiety . Working in the NHS myself experiencing NHS services from the other side made me feel so vulnerable and worried I cannot thank the team involved enough .

Dear Monklands Endoscopy Service

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback around your attendance at the Endoscopy Unit at University Hospital Monklands. I can appreciate that attending hospital for any reasons can cause anxiety and I was delighted to read that Miss Sharma and the staff in both endoscopy and theatres were able to alleviate your fears. It is crucial that patients are given sufficient information and good communication is most important to put the patient at ease throughout any kind of procedure. It will be my pleasure to share your lovely comments with all the staff involved in caring for you that day. I am sure they too will be so pleased to read that they were able to make your procedure less stressful for you.
