We gave birth to our beautiful baby girl in Craigavon Area Hospital, in the Maternity Led Unit in April.
I can not thank the midwives and auxiliary staff enough.
From the moment we were admitted, everyone was so welcoming and friendly.
I got introduced to the midwife who would be helping to deliver our baby. Her name was Patricia. She was outstanding, she listened to my birth preferences and explained everything and answered any questions we had. Patricia kept me calm and was encouraging throughout, making me believe when things got tough. The compassion she showed me throughout and after labour was outstanding. She is a credit to the NHS.
This was my first baby and I had such a positive birthing experience and Patricia was a massive part of that.
