Anything else?
Once again I had to visit the A&E department after another bout of oesophageal spasm. I was seen relatively quickly but the nurses who took my bloods, two final year medical students were very polite and asked me questions, and the doctor was sympathetic.
Luckily for me, the A&E department was not that busy. On a previous visit (on a Sunday) the place was rammed and the care/attention were predictably much worse. Top tip - don't get ill at the weekend! Also, take your own painkillers because it can take ages for the staff to give you any, if at all.
