After attention at A and E , my husband received care in the Medical Ambulatory unit at QEQM the following day.
Everything about the experience was positive. We received such a warm and caring welcome, immediately putting us both at ease. as it was a scary time, but we both immediately relaxed and were completely confident that whatever was needed would be done by this highly professional multi disciplinary team.
The organisation and management was flawless. It was clear watching the handing over of files between staff, the recording of treatment stages on the white board, the recording and chasing of time slots for scans etc that this was an extraordinarily well run unit. We received constant feedback from all the various members of the team both medical and non and nothing was too much trouble.
Like many we spent a good few hours in the unit and to be amongst this happy, friendly team who clearly were a team in every sense was, to be honest, uplifting and we left with a diagnosis, medication and an understanding of what would happen next in which we have complete confidence.
"QEQM Medical Ambulatory Unit - what a fantastic…"
