"Skeletal damage continued unchecked"

About: East Coast Community Healthcare C.I.C

(as a service user),

GPs, Physiotherapists and Nurses at East Coast Community Healthcare failed to recognise my numerous clinical presentations of progressive Axial SpA over several years of treatment for known Multiple Sclerosis.

Only after I became too bent to fit in a Neurology MRI scanner did East Coast Community Healthcare act to arrange a Rheumatology referral, where Axial SpA now severe enough for parts of the spine to have fused was discovered.

Timely recognition, referral and treatment would absolutely have improved my prognosis. Instead, painful and permanent skeletal damage continued unchecked, with mobility and quality of life now significantly impaired.

Thank you East Coast Community Healthcare.
