I feel my words are inadequate in expressing the excellent care / support I experienced on 17th of June when I was a patient in the Endoscopy unit at Queen Margt . Hosp.
Starting with the receptionist who was so pleasant & welcoming me in a personal way.
The Staff nurse who explained the procedure and all the stages from arrival to discharge meant that I had no questions to ask because of all the information she gave to me.She passed me on to the care of two very pleasant nurses and a consultant who immediately gave me assurance that I was is safe hands. Felt I was treated as a friend not just “another one on the list”.
Aftercare in recovery area remained at the same level of support and despite being a busy unit I was served with a welcomed treat of tea & toast.
I left with a written copy with detail of my procedure and subsequent advise
QMH& our good old NHS deserves more gratitude.
