My Father in law was admitted to hospital from his nursing home and ended up in ward 51.
We thought he was going to get home but weeks later his dementia progressed and we were told by the doctors that he was going to be put on end of life care.
My husband and my mother in law were always communicated with, especially the ward secretary Allison. My husband spoke highly of the nursing staff in particular Gwen, Jazz, Maureen, Anne and Maisy, who were caring for my Father in law when he passed.
He was peaceful and the ward thankfully allowed us to come up and visit.
Thank you to all the staff in ward 51 from the doctors, cleaners, porters, nurses and ambulance crew.
