I was very pleased with the staff I came in contact in the ENT Department at the QMC in Nottingham, and especially in the Audiology department. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful, checking me in promptly and directing me to where I should sit. I felt safe in the department, because there were very few other people in the waiting room. The tests I had in the Audiology section were thorough and the technician explained clearly what was happening and what it meant. He then referred me on to a consultant, and I didn't have to wait too long for the appointment. The doctor asked lots of questions and did further tests, and then gave me a possible diagnosis. She took the time to answer my questions and gave me plenty of advice on what I could do to help myself, along with the medication she would ask my GP to prescribe.
