"Real sense of care and attendtion"

About: Western General Hospital / Respiratory Medicine

(as the patient),

During a recent visit to the Respiratory Services at the Western General, Edinburgh my experience left me with a positive feeling - as sense of being cared for.   All staff but particularly the doctor provided excellent service.   The review with the doctor showed insight into my history, took care to listen to me and provided good information and insight into the problems I was having.   Definitely left with a positive feeling of attention being applied, not rushed and a sense of care.

Dear stuart69,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your recent visit to the Respiratory unit at the Western. I know that coming to hospital at anytime can be an extremely daunting. I am glad that the staff were able to put you at ease and took time to explain everything to you.

I have shared your post with the team who would like to thank you for taking the time to provide them with such positive feedback

Thank you and stay safe

Geraldine
