"e-pass not working"

About: NHS Tayside

(as the patient),

I also  found I could not get an e-pass via the link provided.

My mobile phone does not work on the internet as it is very old..

I tried to get the link on desktop via both Windows and Google, but it does not work.

Clearly the App is designed to produce an entry on a phone which can then be shown at the hospital. If it did work on the desktop the e-pass could then be printed and brought along to reception although I suppose it could be possible that the outpatient is not the same individual who completed the questionnaire.

It is a pity this is not made clear in the written instructions.

Thank you for the post. I am sorry you have had difficulty assessing the self assessment questions, the site is www.cctayside.co.uk, in case there was an error in the address. Don’t worry, we appreciate not everyone will be able to get on line before their appointment, as not everyone can access the internet, or have older internet browsers that the site cannot support. The staff will ask you the questions when you attend you appointment if you have not been able to use the self-assessment site beforehand. We do check the site regularly on all available browsers, so I am sorry you could not get it to work on your desktop. It is designed to be able to work on all types of devices including desktop.

By enabling patients to self-assess before they attend, this does help to prevent some patients attending for an appointment when they may be infections to other patients and staff, but we always make sure there is a backup on the day. Thanks again for the feedback.
