"Obtaining an e-pass to attend an appointment"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

Visited www.cctayside.co.uk , one day in advance of my outpatient  visit to PRI Outpatient Department as directed in my Appointment letter.

Despite lengthy period searching, could not locate the COVID questionnaire to obtain e-pass.

NHS managers rightly complain when Patients fail to turn up for appointments, however, please note we do not appreciate having our time wasted by non existent web sites.

Dear Hopsw37

Thank you for the post. I am sorry you have had difficulty assessing the self assessment questions, the site is www.cctayside.co.uk, in case there was an error in the address you were given. Don’t worry, we appreciate not everyone will be able to get on line before their appointment, as not everyone can access the internet, or have older internet browsers that the site cannot support. The staff at PRI will ask you the questions when you attend your appointment if you have not been able to use the self-assessment site beforehand. We do check the site regularly on all available browsers, so I am sorry you could not find it - you should have been given the web address in your attendance letter. Please let us know if you did not, along with which department you were visiting so we can look into this.

By enabling patients to self-assess before they attend, this does help to prevent some patients attending for an appointment when they may be infections to other patients and staff, but we always make sure there is a backup on the day.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Mr Peter Ross
