"Neurology and MRI results"

I was referred to Neurology by my GP due to suspected MS in January 2021. I was given an appointment for May and attended. I was referred for an MRI scan and received an appointment for the end of July. I have called my GP and the neurology department multiple times as my results have yet to appear and it has been 6 weeks since my scan. I am anxious and I am struggling with not knowing what is wrong with me.

I have a referral for the pain team that I cannot make an appointment with until my MRI results are back and I am anxious to continue on my current medication when we are unsure it is even helping. I understand how much pressure the doctors and nurses have been under and continue to be under and I don’t want to be a burden but I really wish I could be given any information about my results as the waiting is torture, even if it was an update of when to expect them.
