My Son is leukaemia patient. He was moved to cardiac ward 1E after staying for a day in CDU.
The staff there was great and friendly. In morning, I asked them to give my son some milk in the bottle and coffee for myself. She came back with milk and coffee.I was a bit busy I gave milk to my son and he started drinking it. After a while I took a sip of my coffee and was about to puke. I sniffed and came to know the milk was expired. It was completely off with v obvious horrible smell. I quickly grabbed my son’s milk bottle which he already had 1/3 of it. I opened the bottle to check the milk it was same horrible expired milk. I called the nurse and told her that my son is already having high temperature and is neutropenic. Still can’t believe that this happened in the hospital where first rule should be hygiene! This should never be happened to any of the patient.
