"Made to feel at fault"

I do want to point out I’ve had brilliant previous experience from EPAS unit with my first pregnancy with the nurses and midwives.  My second pregnancy, not so much. 

 I experienced quite a bit of bleeding and once I had phoned I was made to feel stupid because I had left it a day.  Travelled up for an early scan.  Whilst being scanned by a sonographer, there was private conversations with nothing to do with what I was going through, with giggling etc at the same time as being told my baby had no heartbeat.  

I was rushed out of the room to a secondary room where I was left alone for 20 minutes before being seen.  Now I had previously considered termination due to personal issues but changed my mind and had told the nurse this and their response was that it looked like my choice had been made.  I left the unit feeling like scum.  The way I was made to feel on top of what I was going through made it so much harder.  I hope to never need to use this service again and it’s such as a shame as I have previously stated I’ve had such lovely encounters with other staff on ward.  To me the midwives that were on that day just didn’t seem to care too much about where they were or the delicacy of the department.
