About: Hillingdon Hospital

Told to come to this dept after A&E visit. Arrived at 8.30 as asked it's now 10:40 and still not seen. Is this just A&E in disguise. Helps to keep the waiting times down. If not why not make proper appointment times.

Dear Patient

I am sorry to hear that you were not seen at your appointment time. Both our A&E and our AECU are very busy departments and sometimes there are delays due to patients requiring additional time. I will however pass on your feedback to the AECU so that the staff are aware that they need to keep patients informed of unexpected delays.
