"Infection control"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital (Paisley)

(as a relative),

Attended RAH Paisley with a relative on Friday. Disappointed to see staff travelling to and from work in uniform. Particularly sad to see even senior staff doing this who surely should be leading by example.

In light of recent visitor restrictions due to Covid numbers on the increase maybe it would be a good time to reinforce internal infection control procedures?

Dear HA26

Thank you for providing this feedback.

I am very disappointed to hear that you observed staff wearing uniform out with clinical areas.

I will communicate to all nursing staff within Clyde Hospitals to reinforce the policy and the need for full adherence to ensure effective infection control practice.

Yours sincerely

Con
