About: Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre / Macmillan Day Unit

(as a service user),

I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff in Area 3, MacMillan Day Unit, Beatson, Glasgow. I had chemotherapy there from April to July and the staff were caring, professional and kind even under pressure. Fiona, the Senior Staff Nurse was very caring and helpful as were all the staff including Dr Randhawa. 

The radiotherapy staff were also excellent. 

All of the staff at the Beatson made a difficult treatment more bearable. Thank you.

Dear AEM

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of using Area 3, MacMillan Day Unit of the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.

I can only imagine how daunting it must have felt prior to coming for your treatment but it was warming to hear how all the staff made you feel comfortable and were professional throughout.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to all the staff involved especially Fiona, the Senior Staff Nurse who I'm sure will be touched to hear your story.

Thanks again this means a lot to the staff.
