What could be improved

There is a lack of general cleaning, particularly the ladies toilets situated opposite the WVS canteen.

There is no obvoius inication as to how often these toilet areas are cleaned. In many of the department stores in sheffield there are notices to indicate the frequency of cleaning throughout the day.

There is a staff "clocking in" system on Huntsman corridor on the way to Brearley. during the three months that I visited a patient a selection of polystyrene cups and screwed up tissues remained gathering dirt and dust.

While visitors were diligent in cleaning their hands on entering the ward, not all staff did the same.
