"Lovely doctors and nurse"

About: Jaunty Springs Health Centre

Just been for a long overdue blood test and to receive the covid booster. Was stopped and asked where my mask was, which was fair enough. I don’t wear one due to breathing difficulties and panic attacks. Normally the reception staff are really friendly but this one individual, sat down, none of them were wearing masks btw, told me like a child to go and buy one from the chemist!! Absolutely disgusting attitude, dirty look and turned away as if I was something she’d stood in. I’ve not been able to get an appointment for the best part of 18 months, apart from a phone appointment, which are gone before you get through. All they do is want to send you on a £20 taxi ride to woodhouse.I’m not well at all,but I’ve not tormented. However, being spoken to like a child is too much,I’m borderline agoraphobic I believe,it puts me in anxious situations leaving my home, and I can’t bear to mix with people,I’m easily intimidated. After her attitude I said ‘I’ll just leave it’, not nastily, her response of ‘You suit yourself’, was almost venomous. A really unpleasant individual. I was told by 111 not to wear a mask as I was getting panic attacks,on top of making my breathing worse,I currently have a chest infection I can’t get an appointment to see about, which is amplifying my breathing difficulties. Spoken to like a naughty child by someone you’re old enough to be the father of ISNT on. I understand it’s a hard time,do they think they’re on their own going through it? My mental health is fragile as it is. Luckily I’m not an aggressive individual, sometime soon she will upset someone who is. Not happy at all. Plus not able to find a contact to complain to the practice manager
