I suffered a heart attack in Nov 2021 and presented to UHCW. From the moment I was waiting in A&E to being admitted to ward 21 my care was exemplory. Ward 21 staff I cannot praise enough from the nurses, doctors, cleaners and dinner ladys - it made my stay on the ward so much easier.
On December the 9th, a Cardiac Surgeon came to see me and even though I was aware of the extent of the operation I was facing, his calm manner, and the way he explained the operation and aftercare was most beneficial (I knew he was the person I wanted to carry out my operation).
To the team that carried out my operation, my heartfelt thanks goes out to them, I would most definately recommended that anybody who needed cardiac surgery to choice UHCW.
