About: Kilbryde Hospice

(as a relative),

My partner was aware of Kilbryde hospice after having counselled there many years ago. When she became in need of palliative care her one wish was to receive this in a hospice , preferably Kilbryde. We were able to have her transferred from hospital and although she was only there for a short time, everyone was amazing. Words cannot express my gratitude to all the staff for making the family feel supported. Even the reception care was wonderful and above anything I had experienced before. Doctors involved family with every step of care. Nurses made us feel comfortable about calling them. We felt they only knew my partner for a short time but gave her their full understanding and care had she been there much longer. Everyone we were in contact  Doctors , nurses, Orderlies were amazing and we cannot thank them enough for the care, support and understanding that they showed to the family

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with such positive feedback about the Palliative care your partner received here at Kilbryde Hospice. While your partner was with us for only a short time it was our pleasure to care for her and grant her wish of being cared for within our Hospice.

I am so glad that you and your family felt supported and that we worked with you to keep you involved in her care. Kilbryde Hospice very much works as a team and it is reassuring to know that you felt this way too.

Please know that we are here should you and your family need any further support. Take care of yourselves.
