"MRI Results- NHS Lanarkshire"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Outpatients University Hospital Hairmyres / Neurology

(as the patient),

I was referred for an MRI scan by a neurologist at Hairmyres, NHS Lanarkshire due to suspected MS. I attended the Golden Jubilee hospital for the scan 4 weeks ago and was told the results would be sent to the referring neurologist and then on to my GP. In the past ten days I have called both my GP and the Hairmyres and have been unable to find out the results. The GP does not have the results and at Hairmyres, I have left messages on an answer phone but have had no return call.

I am feeling anxious about the results and would have hoped by this point that someone would have been in contact with me. The care I have received at appointments for both hospitals has been good but I am worried that these results have gone astray.
