"minor biopsy aftercare"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Outpatients Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Skin Team

(as the patient),

Had a minor biopsy in early January on my back. Was expecting 2 to be taken but only one was listed for the op.

Staff were very caring and procedure was quite quick. Left with a leaflet about what to do if I had problems, but no replacement bandages which I needed the the next day, as blood had soaked through quite badly. Have been 4 times to my Community Hospital to have dressing changed and because the top skin was not stitched but just taped (under the skin had dissolving stitches) the wound became infected and is now still not healing on the 21st January.

Called the outpatient number for FVRH and told twice it will heal in time?
