"Still waiting for test results"

About: Brayford Medical Practice Lincoln County Hospital

(as the patient),

Told by hospital to allow 'about a week' to receive results.  I personally left it for 2 weeks before contacting the surgery.  I know everyone is busy.  A month has now passed and I have still not been informed of any results.  You can never get an appointment anymore!  If I did have an appointment it would be, say 10 minutes.  Why can't that time be taken to look at my report?  Frustrating and worrying time for me.  I am being told nothing really. Still ongoing not hearing anything.  What is the problem?

Kind Regards

Update posted by tesnt79 (the patient)

Hello there. Yes I have already done this. I was told by the hospital that results would go back to the doctor in about a week. I left it 2 weeks to be accommodating during all this busy period. I have spoken to a receptionist but they could not tell me anything because the report has not been looked at. I have sent some e-Consults but again all I am told is that it has been chased up. Apparently, the report has not been looked at so cannot be filed and myself be informed. I called into the surgery, told I would get a telephone call, by an unknown doctor to me. They informed me within 2-3 seconds what the problem is. I was made to feel like I should still be waiting because a doctor is busy. They did not get the fact that I have tried for several weeks.

I haven't received an apology or anything. I feel like I am just a name on a list of phone calls to make.
