"Care in the hospital"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiac Catherterisation

(as the patient),

As part of ongoing NHS Care and Support, I attended Hairmyres Hospital for a scheduled Angiogram.

I was received into the Coronary Catheterisation Department half an hour early for a morning appointment.

Although early, my welcome was warm, friendly and informative.

Right up until my release I was taken care of by dedicated, professional and attentive staff. It is obvious that the prime focus of the department, as a whole, is totally on the patients in their care at all times.

May I send special thanks to:-

Dr Malekian and his Surgical Theatre Team

Nurses Rhona, Liz and Sarah-Jane for their amazing pre and post procedural care ( with their totally appropriate sense of humour!! ).

We are fortunate to have so many people in our area, dedicated to the care and support of others who urgently need assistance. Doctors and nurses in turn need to know just how much we value everything they do. I would ask everyone to remember to thank them at every opportunity - Please.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience at the Coronary Catheterisation Department at University Hospital Hairmyres. I am pleased to hear that you were warmly welcomed and received a high standard of care from the reception, nuring and medical staff. The staff try very hard to provide high standards at all times.
