What I liked
I visited Path Lab today for a blood test. A very professional and efficient service but from my observations sitting in the waiting area I had these thoughts.
What could be improved
1. The waiting system of laminated number cards seems to me a potential infection risk. They are handled by so many people - are they washed or just recirculated continuously? Would a paper tear off number system be better?
2. The large very grubby Pooh Bear is clearly an infection risk - soft toys should not be in any hospital environment for this reason. Have the Hospital Play Specialists on the Children's Ward been asked to advise on suitable toys for children in that department?
