I had to have a Colonoscopy done at the New Victoria this afternoon and I would just like to say thanks to everyone involved my care.
Dawn - the receptionist
Gayle - who saw me into the ward and Jean who took all my details she had just started in the ward the day before and was so good that I would never have known.
Katie who put my cannula in with no discomfort and took my blood pressure.
Laura and Lorraine who took me through to theatre and set me up.
Val who performed my colonoscopy.
The nurse who make me the best toast and tea.
Sorry can't remember the name of the nurse who walked me out the ward
Each and every one of you were very kind and compassionate and put me completely at my ease.
Val explained everything in detail to me at the end of it and during it made me feel so comfortable
All in all what could have been an awful experience was really wasn't
