"Compassionate care at the Early Pregnancy Unit"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care

(as a service user),

I experienced a miscarriage after a round of IVF treatment and had to attend the Wishaw General Early Pregnancy unit due to complications.

Although the unit is incredibly busy, all staff who helped look after me were incredible, compassionate, made time to answer my numerous questions and comfort/reassure me when I was upset.

Extremely grateful to all staff working in the unit for the level of care, kindness  and sensitivity shown to me during an incredibly difficult time.

Good afternoon TPOP17

I am so very sorry for your loss. This must be a very sad time for you.

It is heart-warming to see our staff were able to comfort and care for you in an empathetic way.

Please be assured I will pass your kind feedback onto the staff involved in your care.

I wish you all the best for the future.

Kind regards

Jean
