I have recently received help with my mental health problems.
The Crisis resolution home treatment team got involved and helped me with my care.
They suggested that I would benefit with a short stay in the crisis house, been in the crisis house helped me get some headspace and I was able to talk to staff who work at the crisis house if I felt that I needed to talk to someone.
I also had regular visits from the CRHTT to see how I was doing and to give me some advice on coping strategies .
The care I received from the CRHTT was amazing, I felt like they really took me seriously and listened to what I had to say about how I was feeling what helped me loads.
After the stay in the crisis house they came to visit me at my home. The team who was involved in my care got in contact with the cab to see if they could help me with my benefits, the cab rang me a few days later.
The CRHTT also thought it would be a good idea for me to try out DBT therapy what I thought was a great idea, they have put a referral to the SPS who I'm still waiting to hear from.
I really couldn't ask for better care that I received from the CRHTT over the last few weeks.
I also could tell that the team who helped me worked well together because when they came to see me they knew all about me and I didn't have to repeat myself when a different member of staff came to see me.
"I felt like they really took me seriously"
