"Bad Care in A&E at Stepping Hill Hospital."

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Sat here for over 7 hours with no contact with a doctor, no one is able to tell me what I am waiting for and what the plan is. I was not asked important pertinent questions about allergies, current medication, co-morbidities. Astonishingly bad care. 

Update: been here 15 hours, still no plan, no water. Will be writing a formal complaint to PALS.

I was very sorry to read about your experience when you attended the Emergency Department at Stepping Hill Hospital. The Department is currently experiencing periods of significant demand and unfortunately this has impacted waiting times. I am sorry that you were not kept fully updated and appreciate this would have had an impact on your time in the department.
