"A huge asset to South Ayrshire!"

I've required help/support from the South Ayrshire Care at Home team for 6 years approximately. I have 4 regular carers who come in & assist me with personal care: Trisha, Linda, Annette & Sarah. I cannot explain my gratitude to my carers, they are always extremely supportive, professional, they go above & beyond re support & my needs being met. They never rush me, they are empathic, knowledgeable, patient, kind, understanding, non judgemental & they listen to me.

I'm still relatively young, currently 51 years old, my brain works fine, it's my body, poor mobility, extreme pain, poor balance, weakness down full left side where I struggle. It's not easy with personal care but Trisha, Linda, Annette & Sarah always make sure I'm comfortable & ensure my dignity is kept intact at all times. They have always been & continue to help, support, reassure & listen to me. My 4 carers are a huge asset to the South Ayrshire Care at Home team & I can never thank them enough for all their help, time, understanding, support & professionalism🙌

In addition Debbie, their manager, has also gone above & beyond for me, so grateful for. There have been staffing issues, which can't be helped, but Debbie tries so hard to ensure my continuity of care, routine with the same carers, which is a huge thing for me. Due to certain medical conditions, I need that continuity & the same 4 carers as only they are trained to do specific tasks, other carers aren't, so it's very difficult when a new person comes in.

The girls also know what signs to look out for re possible absence/seizures/epilepsy & Debbie is trying her best to ensure I have the same carers🙌 Debbie has always been professional, patient, kind, empathic, understanding & knowledgable. She is a huge asset to the Care at Home team, always going above & beyond to make sure things are done as best as she can. I will never be able to thank Debbie for her ongoing support & trying to ensure I have the same carers for medical reasons.

Debbie, Trisha, Linda, Annette & Sarah are all a huge asset to South Ayrshire! Please pass on my genuine gratitude for everything they have done & continue to do for me.
