Had an appt to get a Mirena IUD put in. Dr. Rauf was super lovely, explained everything carefully and answered my questions kindly and thoroughly. She made me feel really comfortable and listened when I felt a little discomfort.
She reminded me that I was in control of the appointment, and honestly that was so reassuring to hear!
She made sure I was feeling okay afterwards, and OK to go before I left. Overall such a good experience, and I'm so thankful to have had Dr Rauf doing my procedure!

Having a coil inserted can be quite a scary thing and so it is extra important to make sure that clinicians are listening to an responding sensitively to patients.
