"Poor practice"

About: Farndon Health Centre

My elderly mother received a NHS letter to get a seasonal booster vaccination for Autumn 2022. Having rung NHS number on letter I was told to ring our surgery because they do not do housebound patients. I rang Farndon Village Surgery, only to be told "we do not do booster vaccinations for anyone, ring 119". After explaining to receptionist I had rang 119, and was told to ring you, the surgery said "we are not doing them". So how is my 98 year old mother going to get her booster vaccination? We have carers coming into our house, every other day. Farndon surgery do not care about their patients, especially elderly patients which they have a duty of care for. My experience with Farndon surgery since becoming Village Surgeries Group has been extremely poor, there is no care and attention to the elderly at this practice, especially if you are housebound. Doctors do not visit my elderly mother who is housebound for medication reviews, wrong repeat medication have been given to us numerous times and they have lost our prescriptions. The surgery closes nearly every Friday at 1 pm, with no explanation why, yet Tattenhall surgery is open 7 miles away. Surgery always replies, "we only have 1 doctor on, and she/he hasn't done .... etc yet". Poor communication, poor listening skills, incompetence and lax approach to patients.
